Bollywood star to launch new Indian restaurant in Manchester
The Manchester Asha’s will be a huge 6,000 square foot restaurant and bar over two floors on Peter Street, at the site of what many will remember as celebhaunt bar Baby Grand.
Award-winning Indian singer Asha, herself a noted cook, opened her first restaurant in Dubai in 2002. Since then the brand has spread across the Middle East, but the only UK branch currently is in Birmingham.
The restaurant launch will be overseen by Peter Warden, well known in Manchester for his key roles in management at the Restaurant Bar & Grill and Piccolino in the city and Cheshire.
He returns to Manchester after three years working with the Asha’s brand, opening venues across the Middle East.
The restaurant will open on Peter Street.
