Charlie Bell takes on ‘Miss British Empire’

‘Miss British Empire’ the new national title happens to be in its 4th year and has gone from strength to strength creating a network across the UK of girls who are jumping on the opportunity to build their own feeder heats.
Charlie Bell the first ever title holder, has come back into the fold and joined the ever growing UK team, taking on the regional licence for Manchester and the North West. The former Miss British Empire 2011, Miss York City and Miss GB finalist, who runs Charlie Bell Management from Chester has taken the brave step to pass on similar opportunities to other girls interested in modeling and a career in entertainment.

“A national pageant like Miss British Empire is a wonderful platform for girls to fast track into show business, under the guidance of a strong team of successful mentors, there really is no better way to get noticed and get ahead” Charlie says.

Miss British Empire is giving former pageant girls and model agencies the chance to build their own business. With regional licence holders who could top the pageant podiums themselves. In Scotland: Madiha Iqbal (Face of Aberdeen winner) runs the show, across England Sarah King, Ashleigh Harrison (current Miss BE York), and Hannah McGeoghegan (Miss Teen Cumbria Galaxy) with new addition Charlie, and in Wales current Miss British Empire Katie Hulland will organise the heats. An empowering female team.

liz fullerThe introduction and need for a new pageant came from CEO Liz Fuller, a former Miss Great Britain and actress based in Los Angeles. Previously the CEO of Miss Great Britain, Liz didn’t want to turn her back completely on the UK pageant circuit back in 2011. Turning the old GB feeder heat Miss British Model into a new stand alone title. This business empire certainly has grown over the last 3 years, helping more girls take control of their own brands and create a flourishing business.
