U.K Stars Smash It For Crime Stoppers
We can never turn down a good cause so when we heard about Smashing Stars in aid of raising awareness for Crimestoppers...we put on our bowling shoes and headed for the lanes!
The event was held by Mark It On The Wall creators and SixStar promotions at the Kingpin Suite in Russel Square. Fun and games got off to a slow start but once it kicked off, there was no stopping the excitement! Amongst the celebrities that attended were MtvBase comedian Jason Lewis, Kidulthood and Adulthood actor Femi Oyeniran, Dj Longers,Bashy, funny man Eddie Kaddi and London Mc Wretch 32.
Crimestoppers agent Cecil Forest delivered a a moving speech about crime in London especially amongst young people. He told of his own child's harrowing experience of crime and it really reminded everybody of why we were there. Then followed a performance from Wretch 32 of his single Be Cool which is an anti-violence song promoting positiveness amongst young people.
The bowling tournament then commenced with each celebrity and their team claiming to be the winners before they had even bowled! Laughter and banter ripped through the bowling lanes untill DJ Longers emerged the overall winner scoring an impressive 67 points!
