Karen David is adding some desi glamour to the cast of Hollywood film “Couples Retreatâ€, which releases in the UK today.
The multi-talented singer, song-writer and actress features in the romantic comedy, alongside some of Hollywood’s hottest actors and actresses. Talking from the red carpet premiere in Hollywood, Karen joked: "It was really tough to be filming in Bora Bora and to be stuck on a small piece of paradise with Vince Vaughn, Jason Bateman, Jon Favreau, Kirsten Davis and Kirsten Bell for a few weeks. The things we have to do to pay the bills! "In between filming for “Couples Retreat”, Karen has been busy touring across Canada and North America, enchanting the nation with her “Magic Carpet Ride”. She will be touching back down in the UK next week and to the delight of her British fans, will be performing her next single “Hypnotize You (on the dancefloor)” for the very first time at Vodafone presents Diwali at Millennium Point, deep in the heart of Birmingham’s city centre on Saturday 24th October.
