Beyonce Parts Ways With Her Dad?

This morning, the news broke that Beyonce’s long term business relationship with her father Mathew Knowles has officially ended. The number one diva followed in ex bandmate Kelly Rowland's footsteps and finally cut the management strings with her dad.

The split was announced in a statement via her publicist on behalf of Bey, confirming that after having trained her and the other original destiny's child members since they were children, Mathew Knowles would no longer manager her career. In the statement Beyonce made it clear that despite the rumours of a rift last year, she is still on good terms with her father who did get a woman pregnant whilst separated from her mum.

"I've only parted ways with my father on a business level. He is my father for life and I love my dad dearly. I am grateful for everything he has taught me."

In true Beyonce style she dealt with the situation with maturity and class

"I grew up watching both he and my mother manage and own their own businesses. They were hardworking entrepreneurs and I will continue to follow in their footsteps."

Matthew then released a statement of his own claiming that the the decision to part ways was amicable...

"The decision for Beyoncé and Music World Entertainment to part was mutual. We did great things together, and I know that she will continue to conquer new territories in music and entertainment."

"Business is business and family is family. I love my daughter and i'm very proud of who she is and all that she has achieved. I look forward to her continued great success."

Well we all know that success is her middle name and her song writer Sean Garett recently spoke about Bey's anticipated 2011 album telling Wendy Williams on her show that it was going to be "epic" .

We don't doubt Matthew or Sean's comments about her success because the woman is a beast in this industry. With rumours flying around that she is to join forces with her husband Jay-Z's empire Roc Nation, the next stage of her legacy awaits.
