Oscar-Winner A.R. Rahman Will Feature in Bollywood Youth Love Story Ekk Deewana Tha’s New Music Video ‘Kya Hai Mohabbat’
‘Ekk Deewana Tha’ is released through Twentieth Century Fox on 17th February 2012
Oscar-winning lyricist, musician and singer A.R. Rahman will give his seal of approval to the hotly-anticipated new Bollywood romance film ‘Ekk Deewana Tha’ when he appears in the music video for its latest musical track to be released, ‘Kya Hai Mohabbat’. Fox Star India officially released the new track on its You Tube channel earlier this week.
The soulful song ‘Kya Hai Mohabbat’ is unique as it marries A.R. Rahman’s musical score with inspirational lyricist Javed Akhtar’s touching lyrics, and is set to a collage of romantic moments spent between ‘Jessie’ (Amy Jackson) and ‘Sachin’ (Prateik Babbar) in the film. Adding further impetus to the song’s mass appeal is the appearance of A.R. Rahman and Javed Akhtar in the music video, and of A.R. Rahman’s melodic vocals on the track.
