DesiMag: Tasha, your known to be a unique singer with a diverse style and charm – What makes you so different?
Tasha- I think just being myself makes me different, after all nobody is a blueprint of yourself. Keep it natural, keep it real and people can relate to that...well i hope so anyway! For me, the most important part of making music is the music. DesiMag: You’ve been in the Music industry since a very young age – How do you think the Asian Music industry has developed?
Tasha: Its very different. Even the mediums we choose to listen to music and watch videos have changed. Computers have changed are lives forever and made music accessible at every level. Although we have got more exposure, it's also given a platform for up and coming artists to launch themselves easier than it would have ever been before. I think its great, people can express themselves freely.DesiMag: What’s it like getting guidance from Rishi Rich, the man behind promoting the likes of Jay Sean?
Tasha: Amazing, he is such a gem I could listen to him talk all day. Everything he says is like a quote, I've actually started writing them down now. Great words from a great person should never be lost!DesiMag: Why do you think Asian Artists are hesitant to work with other Asian artists in the industry?
Tasha: I think its just the way the dynamics have been for many years. Its definitely something that is changing gradually. Only if we support each other, will we move forward and grow together as an industry. DesiMag: You’ve been working hard on writing your songs, working on your new Album, Who are you collaborating with in this next album and apart from ‘’Raining in Love’’, which other number is your favourite?
Tasha: I would say Rewind my debut single, its the first song that Rishi, Veronica and myself wrote together. Its upbeat, fun and is kind of sentimental I guess. DesiMag: Describe the following people in ONE words:
