The Pakistani Music & Media Awards – Winners announced!
9TH September, Birmingham: The Pakistani Music and Media Awards recognised the outstanding contribution to both the Media and Entertainment Industry individuals and groups across the UK with Pakistani and British Asian heritage.
The Awards took place yesterday and the turn out for the event was overwhelming.
PMMA aims to celebrate the achievements of artists, producers, music and media experts within the British Asian world whilst encouraging new talent to break into the industry.
With 26 categories, a number of exceptional UK Asians and those from the Pakistani diaspora were honoured at the second awards brought to you by the bidgeley Foundation.
The high profile evening attracted the likes of CEO of Pepe’s Piri Piri franchise produce of the movie Janaan, Mr Munir Hussain to world renowned singer Naseebo Lal, Asif Khan from the voice, actor Om Puri, Zack Knight who won a number of awards.
The awards will ensure that those working or investing in the industry will have the opportunity to receive acclaim for their achievements.
