Dhoom 3’ Box Office Collection: Aamir Starrer Breaks ‘Chennai Express’ and ‘Krrish 3’ Record; Becomes Highest Opener
With back to back sold out shows in Cineworld Feltham, Odeon Cinema and private screenings, Dhoom 3 has been received with open arms, here in Britain.
The Movie released yesterday and its a much talked about film. Fans of Aamir Khan have even gone to see it twice without debate. Throughout the film, Khan uses a Joker sign as part of his identity (seems inspired from one of Nolan’s most successful films) and if one were to look back a little, One of Aamir Khan’s earlier films, Ghajini, was loosely inspired by Nolan’s groundbreaking Memento.
The Yash Raj production minted ₹30 crore (Hindi version) and ₹36 crore including Tamil and Telugu version, which is the highest ever opening day collection, beating both holiday and non-holiday release. Dhoom 3- All Languages Hindi Rs 33.42 Cr, Tamil & Telugu Rs 2.80 Cr: Total Rs 36.22 Cr,” trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.
